Maresa has more than 11 years’ experience in the legal field. Prior to Joining Thomson Reuters, she was a specialist litigation and family law attorney in Johannesburg, South Africa. During her practice, she was a beta tester and then frequent user of Case Center for the Gauteng High Courts.

She holds an LL. B from the University of the Free State, South Africa, and is a Golden Key International Honour Society member. She co-founded the Gauteng Family Law Forum. Maresa is passionate about the law and believes in the structure it brings to a chaotic world. She considers innovative digitisation of legal processes the way of the future in order to improve access to justice.
