A new KSA Law comes into effect on 23 March 2022 that aims to prevent the abuse of personal data.

The law will regulate the processing of personal information and data sharing. The Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) will supervise the implementation of the law for a period of two years, transferring the competence of supervision to the National Data Management Office (NDMO).
